Unity within diversity has become the brand that unifies the Cultural Village. Katara despite being morphologically unique, it is rather urban homogeneous. In its physical urban built fabric, Katara spans beyond the geographical borders of Doha or Qatar. This spreading geography of the world formed the inspiration for the concepts and themes of the different style components of the Cultural Village.
This drift of the cultural heritage was reflected on the authentic representation of the different cultures at the aesthetic aspects, as well as climatic through the materials exemplification of the social and cultural factors. Architectural variety in its language, built environment vocabulary in its symbols, forms and art are all weaved in seamless unity and full harmony.
The architecture of the Cultural Village is a masterpiece characterised by the splendor of its building designs derived from the Qatari architectural heritage in addition to its diverse architectural styles that belong to multiple civilizations around the world, all of which are fused into the crucible of Katara.
The diversity of cultures, as much as it is represented through the built environment, it is also represented in the food choices. Katara embraces several famous ethnic restaurants that serve users from different social groups. This is also reflected on the interior and all the details of the fit out of the dining setting.
This diversity of culture is also reflected on signage in Katara which is bilingual (Arabic and English), the matter that allow visitors to move through the Cultural Village smoothly.
